The Irish Federation of Local History Studies has announced a summer programme of history inspiration for 2025.
On the agenda are:
- A new edition of History Ireland packed with fascinating content
- A new book from Merrion Press: UNBROKEN: Secrets, Lies and Enduring Love with Mary Attenborough & Michael Gallagher
- Details of the Co Tipperary – Irish Kennedy Heritage Group annual gathering featuring Professor Mark Kennedy, a Medieval Banquet and much more
- Co Dublin – Virtual Record Treasury of Ireland. How the Virtual Record Treasury of Ireland is releasing 175,000 additional historical records to the public. In total, the Virtual Treasury is now home to over 350,000 records – replacements for items lost in the destruction of the Public Record Office of Ireland in 1922
